The Waitane (pronounced why-tahn-ay) is a 60 foot concrete ketch based in Nelson, at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. The Waitane is crewed entirely by expedition members.

Accommodation

1 aft cabin 2 berths walkway through engine room above engine room. In wheel house is a watch bunk. Saloon (and galley) have table and seats or a bunk. Single head and shower to starboard up for'ard. Opposite head and shower to port are two single bunks. 2 singles in the forecastle.
